The rhythmic click of the train wheels lulled Amelia into a state of deep relaxation. The scenery outside the window blurred into streaks of green and blue as she leaned back against her seat, her eyes half-closed. She felt a lightness within her. She was heading into a new life, and it felt right. She noticed a wallet, tucked near the seat.

She picked it up, feeling its heft. It seemed to be a quality leather. She opened it and saw the substantial amount of cash inside. A driver’s license revealed a man’s name and address. She smiled slightly.

She knew she would do the right thing. It felt so easy. It felt so natural. She'd mail it when she arrived. The ride itself seemed smoother somehow, the clickety-clack of the tracks now a gentle rhythm.
